The Brewster Perforated Brass Semi-Flush Mount is built around perforated brass that lets light escape in fine points and a wide disc shade with a low, elegant profile. Switched off, it is still a sculptural object. Switched on, it becomes the warmest point in the room.
Each light is made from solid brass in a warm bronze-toned brass finish and is finished by hand. Made to order by artisans, it is built to last for decades and to age with character.
Use it in a hallway, a bedroom, a kitchen or any room with a lower ceiling, where a hanging fixture would feel too much. Light escapes through the openings in the metal and draws patterns of light and shadow on the surrounding surfaces.

Living brass
Raw, unlacquered brass is a living finish. It slowly takes on a natural patina that makes every light one of a kind. To keep it bright, polish it with a soft cloth and a brass cleaner. To let it age, simply leave it as it is.
Painted, chrome and lacquered finishes are sealed and keep their tone. Dust them with a soft, dry cloth.
Glass, marble and fabric parts can be dusted with a dry cloth. Always switch the fixture off and let it cool before cleaning.
