Raw solid brass with no lacquer. It keeps deepening into a natural patina. Our signature finish.

How to compare finishes at home

Look at night

Most lighting is seen after dark. Check each swatch under a warm bulb, around 2700K, not only in daylight.

Start with what stays

Match the metals you will not change: faucets, door handles, cabinet pulls. Warm brass pairs with warm metals, chrome with cool ones.

Think in years

Unlacquered brass will darken and soften over time. Brushed brass, black and chrome stay as they are. Choose the one you want to live with in five years.

Mixing is allowed

One finish for the whole home feels calm. Two finishes, repeated on purpose, feel collected. More than two starts to feel random.

Is the price really credited back?

Yes. Your kit comes with a code worth the full price of the kit, valid on any lighting order of $500 or more. One code per household.

How long does the kit take to arrive?

The kit ships free with tracking. Delivery usually takes 10 to 15 days, about the same as our lighting.

Do the swatches match the lighting exactly?

They are made in the same partner workshops with the same finishing process. Unlacquered brass is a living finish, so your swatch and your lighting will both keep warming over time.

Do I need to return the kit?

No. The kit is yours to keep, so you can use it again when you light your next room.
