A rod or chain cut to the exact height of your space, even for double-height entries.

Finish

Unlacquered brass, brushed brass, black or chrome. You can also mix two finishes.

Opal, clear, ribbed or colored glass. Metal shades can also replace the glass.

Questions, answered

How much does a custom light cost?

It depends on the size, the number of lights and the materials. A simple change to an existing light often costs only slightly more than the original. We always send a free quote before anything is made.

How long does it take?

Lead times depend on the light. We confirm them with your quote, before you commit to anything.

What do I need to send?

A few photos of your room, your measurements (ceiling height, table or island size) and a photo or sketch of what you have in mind. If you start from a Yore light, simply tell us which one.

Can I return a custom light?

Custom lights are made only for you, so they cannot be returned. That is why we confirm every detail with a drawing before production. Every custom light is covered by our 1-year warranty.

I am a designer or an architect.

Custom work is available through our Trade Program, with 15% off and one point of contact for your whole project.

The four finishes

Custom lights come in the same four finishes as our collection. Name your finish in your request, or order the sample kit first and decide at home.

Unlacquered Brass

Raw solid brass with no lacquer. It warms and deepens into a natural patina. Our signature finish.

Best for: Traditional, warm and collected rooms
Care: Polish to brighten or simply let it age

Brushed Brass

Soft satin brass, lacquered to keep its warm golden tone for years.

Best for: Classic and elegant spaces
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth

Black

A black finish over a solid brass body. Graphic and quietly modern.

Best for: Modern rooms and light walls
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth

Chrome

A crisp, reflective silver that keeps its shine.

Best for: Bathrooms, white kitchens and cool palettes

Drop length

Longer drops, ready to order

Need a fixture to hang lower? Three longer drops are available directly on most chandeliers and pendants. For anything beyond 36 inches, or a different rod or chain, ask for a custom order below.

Over a table or island: the bottom of the fixture 30 to 36 in above the surface
In walkways and entries: at least 7 ft of headroom under the fixture
Same finish on the added rod or chain, wiring extended to match
